The Monrovia Transit Authority says it would this Friday begin an inter-county transportation program.

MTA Managing Director told a news conference, the bus route system will take passengers from Monrovia to Gbarnga.

According to Mr. Senwah Weah, the bus would make stops at all major points along the Monrovia-Gbarnga highway.

Mr. Weah told reporters, passengers will be required to pay up to two hundred fifty Liberian dollars.

The launch of the rural transport service is the kickoff to the work of the newly organized National Transit Authority.

Mr. Weah disclosed the MTA was serving as an implementing partner for the National Transit Authority.
